Making community action stronger

Waltham Forest Council for Voluntary Services (WFCVS) is your local infrastructure organisation, dedicated to strengthening social purpose organisations across our borough.

What do we mean by social purpose organisations?

We use this term to describe the diverse range of organisations working for community benefit in Waltham Forest – including charities, voluntary groups, community organisations, faith groups, social enterprises and Community Interest Companies (CICs). What unites them all is a commitment to social good over private profit.

We believe that when local organisations flourish, communities thrive. That's why we offer practical support, training, funding advice and networking opportunities to help you do what you do best – serving the people of Waltham Forest.
